Dockers de Normandie operates as a pool serving the Group's terminals, whether it be in containers, Ro-Ro car or conventional (small handling, heavy loads, etc.).
The DN company is among the main employers of dockers in France.
Thanks to its teams and a unique experience in the port industry, Dockers de Normandie has been able to evolve its know-how and adapt to the evolution of handling tools, be it the equipment itself or the data processing more and more present in their functioning and in all the processes implemented on a daily basis. DN reckons on an internal training center certified CACES, which trains all the company's personnel and a large number of personnel entering the port.
Always attentive to reduce the inherent risks in handling operations, Dockers de Normandie has developed a rigorous policy in the field of security both in material investments and in specific training programs, always in consultation with social partners.
DN is relying on a team of Managers and handling Chiefs with recognized know-how. Dockers de Normandie is able to adapt as best as possible to the fluctuations of the orders of its customers with a great reactivity often organized only 24 hours in advance. Teams are assigned on 3 shifts per day, seven days a week. This reactivity stems from a management tool piloted by an experimented team.
